Not much to do here unless you pay the extra for the water activities. Even then, I'm not too sure I'd say that's worth $30. If the sky is cloudy, you won't see the volcano, but I bet it looks amazing on a clear day. Not enough to do at this park to make the lack of a view worth it for me. Not sure how it'd look with no clouds, but you can get good close views of the volcano in La Fortuna. There's also very few animals on the trail. We saw a yellow-throated toucan though! Trail to lava rocks was easy, steep but short. 2 stars cuz the trails are well-maintained and the volcano view is probably great to see up close with no clouds

Delicious juice and good portion corn fritters snack. If you're hungry for a whole meal, the meals I saw others get looked pretty big compared to most places in Indonesia. Prices here are cheaper than on the main street and worth the maybe 10 minutes walk. Enter from main street at the skinny alley next to the temple that has a small sign pointing toward rice fields. Most chairs were nearly the same height as the tables, so not great if you want to have your legs under the table. There's bar-like seating in the back corner and there's more legroom over there
