I went into this shop because it looked so cute! I go in and try to lift up a lamp and a woman starts screaming at me "NO! No! Hello?! DON'T TOUCH THAT!" she runs over to me and practically swats my hands away. She then very condescendingly points to a tiny sign that says you can't touch anything in the store? She said "That's a $2,000 lamp" with a tone that clearly implied I couldn't afford it.
I was in the store for all of 2 minutes. It was the worst experience I've ever had. It left me feeling shamed and anxious the rest of the day. I have never felt so patronized. The way this employee behaved, it's almost like they would prefer not to have customers. Truly, truly wretched.
