Gosh every week prices of something goes up. It won't be only Countdown though. I'm a bit shocked at how much the staples cost on our once a week visit, and I use a list. Staff are always helpful. Last week pointing out a fresh fish special. This week helping me find a product. I hope they save the butchers jobs. I read there is a change coming.

Took grandsons shopping. The staff were super knowledgeable about their books and could discuss authors, series, and new book release dates at the children's level. They came out with two books each and a jigsaw puzzle. I bought myself cards. I simply can't go in there without buying cards. It's the epitome of an independent bookstore and a New Plymouth treasure.
