This place rocks!
Everything from the service to the food/beer to the ambience is great.

Super filling appetizer. Meatballs drenched in an awesome marinara sauce, with melted mozzarella. Two pieces of delicious bread.

Had to grab some wings, too.

Ellis Island is yet another example of Vegas' growth as a great craft beer town.

Had three hefes, and a lager, both good. Best hefe I've had in a while.

I need to start asking for/remembering the server's name. She deserves a biiig shout out. Attentive but not pushy. Let me enjoy the vibe of the place.

Grabbed 5 brews to go.

Best part, while it's only a 7 minute walk from the strip, you won't encounter strip prices.

I was in and out for under 50 bucks.

Like their brews so I figured I'd like the brew pub. I did like the industrial look but the best thing about my experience was the service.
Hung out at the bar and told the bartender I was kinda in a stout mood.
Hooked me up with two exceptional stouts.
The "it's a beaut" is thick, smooth with toffe notes.

Had a burger with fries as accompaniment.

I've had better burgers. I won't lie.
Good,,,sated the appetite but not memorable.

Wings were good. Buffalo sauce was tart, savoury. No complaints.

So glad I decided to roll up above 125th street into Harlem.
This will be one of my "must stops" whenever I'm in New York.

The beer: About 15 on tap. I drank 6 of them. The place has a GREAT selection of craft beer. Appears to specialize in stocking a lot of smaller, but equally great brewers. I LOVE Hill Farmstead, Russian River, The Alchemist, etc. But there are a lot of smaller ones that don't get the love.

The staff: SUPER knowledgeable. Told Amber, (I believe that was the bartender's name) what I was in the mood for and she gave me some great recommendations. "Lost Memories" is probably my new favourite stout. Attentive, but let me chill and drink. She knew when it was time to offer another suggestion.

The vibe: Very laid back but with the right amount of hipness, without being "hipster". Harlem hip, not LES.
Some good old school R&B in the background and there's a TV, so I assume you can catch a game there if one is on.

Food: Don't go there famished. The food is more of the snacking variety. I had a nice braut and chips/salsa. Delicious. Served the purpose of keeping something in the stomach to at least slow down the absorption of 3 12.5 abv Imperial stouts.

Best part...one can take beer away. So...I took a mixed six pack back home to sip.

If you're a craft beer fan, and you're in NYC, stop by Harlem Hops. There's a location in Chelsea too.
