I was a bit skeptical about this place given it’s reputation and high prices, but I wanted to give it a try nonetheless. Perhaps it’s the norm for high-end and reputable restaurants in Europe but I was a bit surprised getting charged a music table fee, when technically you can listen to it for free just by standing nearby. Many were doing exactly that. Regardless, sipping on a drink, having a snack, and hanging out at what is the oldest café in Venice was a really surprising and dreamy experience. The history behind it ties really well into the classic atmosphere of the place, with a calm romantic vibe in the evening time.

Most people care about the prices, which are indeed higher than other cafes, for likely the same items. Well, I can’t speak for the food but I would highly recommend this place when in Venice, just for the atmosphere.

Great place to hike! Spring, summer,fall, or winter! This provincial park, about 1.5 hours away from Toronto, is sure to keep in touch with the best nature has to offer! You can spend a good couple of hours completing the trail around the lake!

The trail is very nice and short. It is about 3.5 km, which can be done in about 1 hr. I have hiked this after a giant storm hit the campground and I was surprised by how easy it was to hike it. The trails has a lot of boardwalks and rocky areas and it did not seem to be very muddy or too wet. The view from the lookout is well worth the walk.
