Quite disappointed in the gallery experience here. The current exhibit of Danielle ‘s is welcoming, an amazingly diverse crowd. However, that is not seen in the way that these people are treated. as an avid art collector, I recommended coming here to a few friends who had an extremely unpleasant situation. A friend who is just begun their art collecting journey asked a few questions and instead of directly answering how she could in the future, collect art and stay connected to the gallery, she was recommended to go buy prints.
We have our assumptions as to why that occurred, but that is not necessary to delve in to. It was quite a stupid approach on behalf of the gallery.
Also, the gallery lacks representation greatly. The art might be diverse, but the people who work there are not. It was quite concerning when I heard this really bad experience my friend had. I wish I had attended with them.
My recommendation to the gallery is don’t make assumptions on the people who enter your gallery. Treat everyone with respect. And don’t insult someone by recommending that they go by Prints.
This is the reason why younger crowds no longer frequent West Chelsea for art and are going down to the lower east side. Experience is like this. Meanwhile, the people who work there aren’t necessarily the collectors of these pieces of work so I would advise them to pull back on the pretentious attitudes.

As someone who lives steps away from the gallery, location in NYC, we love this one as well.
The current exhibitions are absolutely beautiful & the wonderful woman at the front desk was so welcoming.
These places can often feel quite stuffy and unapproachable. We happen to be art enthusiast, but even if you are novice, this is a lovely stop if you live in the London or just visiting.
Will definitely be back.

Pretentious for literally no reason. It’s not like they have so many exclusives in their store. You can go to a million other boutiques and find these items.
Customer service is probably the most disgusting thing about the store.
In the current day where we’re all one click away from luxury & Beautiful designer goods customer service is a key reason why I would shop somewhere.
The representatives don’t reach you when you walk in the store, they look at you strange.
I’ve given this place more than one opportunity. So disappointing.

How disappointing. wandered in here with with my fiancé to look at artwork. I was semi-greeted by the front desk and then I believe in a woman name Rebecca came to help as we asked a few questions.
We inquired about a few pieces and the team promised to follow up with us. They never did.
It’s disappointing but also pretty obvious why there is a diversity gap and who owns art. Wow many of their artist presented in the galleries are black I see that they don’t want that consumption to align.
In addition, I found The woman who helped us to be quite snobby.
I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking to purchase art and feel comfortable doing so.
They are way too pretentious and clearly did not follow up.
My heart goes out to the artist who in trust a gallery with their beautiful pieces Who is not diligently handling them with care or treating future collectors respectively.

This Business is a scam and should be shut down.
The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had purchasing luxury furniture. Not only are the owners and sales reps completely rude, they bait and switch prices.
This company is only concerned about getting your first payment and then after that you will not hear from them. They lie about shipping timeframes & the final price.
Everyone in the industry knows that studio twenty seven is one of the worst places to work with. Scam.
