Wish I could add more pictures as there’s so much to share. The garden is amazing. Just walking through here is awesome as there’s so much history to be seen. You can make reservations ahead of time or just do a self-guided tour which is what we did, with no advance planning. It’s a gorgeous building and everyone was so wonderfully pleasant.
The pizza was amazing, but I was truly and pleasantly surprised at how delicious the Fish & Chips were at this little restaurant. And the servers were darling. It didn’t take long at all to get served. Can’t wait to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
To the delight of all of us, especially my 9 year-old grandson, we visited this darling museum and loved every bit of it. Each house tells a different story, like Charlotte’s Web, Three Little Pigs, etc, and even has a small creek the kiddos can put their feet in. The 100 year-old house even has a picture hanging of it from that long ago. I was told to come back in the Spring as that is when the grapes are growing and can be eaten directly from the vines, so that is what we’ll do. It was an awesome place to visit and we can’t wait to return.
We did not go see a movie, but this is by far the most gorgeous piece of architecture I’ve ever seen. The Million Dollar Theatre at 307 S. Broadway in downtown Los Angeles is one of the first movie palaces built in the United States. It opened in February 1918. It is the northernmost of the collection of historical movie palaces in the Broadway Theater District and stands directly across from the landmark Bradbury Building.
