A smart and well organised station with friendly and helpful staff, superb customer information screens and signage and comfortable waiting rooms with ample charging points for mobile phones.
There's so much to see here and it is great value. Superb views of the city centre from the tower, magnificent collections of art, ceramics etc. A beautiful, peaceful garden almost hidden away. All that and spectacular staterooms and the magnificent staircase famously descended by the Mini Coopers in The Italian Job.
The history of the Risorgimento is complex - especially if you are not Italian. This museum has a remarkable collection, with helpful videos explaining the history. A great place for anybody seriously interested in history - and the building itself is impressive.
Worth visiting for the beautiful clock. Good ferry service too.
An extraordinarily beautiful churchyard leads to this fascinating historic church, which is evidently lovingly cared for.
