Jen is amazing! I have a one and a half year old German Shepherd who was very skittish, unsure, and reactive towards other dogs (even if they were a good distance away). After doing a little bit of research and seeing all the positive reviews, I decided to contact Jen to give Lucky Star Dog Training a try. Jen really listens to all of your concerns and she is very honest and straight forward when it comes to training and what to expect, which is great. I decided to go with the board and train option for 3 weeks and after it was finished there was already so much improvement with my dog!
Not only am I now able to have people come over without worrying about my dog barking nonstop, I am also aware of how to make my dog more comfortable in situations I didn’t understand before. I’m also able to confidently take my dog on walks where there are other people and dogs present without her excessively barking at every dog we see, and it feels amazing to be able to do that now! We are still working on improving her behavior every day but I couldn’t have gotten this far without Jen’s help.
Jen genuinely cares for your pet and you can trust they are in good hands with Lucky Star Dog Training. She’s very good at following up after the training is completed to see how things are going and answer any questions you may have to help you feel confident in continuing the training yourself. You can tell she really does want every dog and their owner to be successful and live a happy, stress free life. I would recommend Lucky Star Dog Training to anyone.
