This is a lovely place for a hike with little kids. The terrain is varied enough to keep them interested but the trails are not long. We were lucky enough to spot a large owl and many other small birds. Parking is pretty hard to find on a weekend, so be prepared for that. There are bathrooms in the gift shop!
