Saudi Arabia is in full bloom. The Ministry of Culture has unveiled the Taif Rose Festival 2024, which is taking place from 7 to 14 May. So, if you want to see some of the kingdom’s most radiant roses, here’s what you need to know.

Taif is famous in the Middle East for its roses and production of rose fragrances. Taif Rose Festival 2024 gives you the chance to admire the beauty of the flower, plus the region’s marvellous mountains and Insta-worthy views. So, here’s your chance to experience its parade of roses through the streets of Taif to Al Raddaf Park.

Taif Rose Festival
So far, we know that Taif Rose Festival 2024 will feature a light show, shopping stalls and a dedicated children’s zone. Local chefs will showcase local cuisines at the food stalls, which are inspired by and incorporate the Taif rose. If previous festivals are anything to go by, we’re also expecting live music and perfume-making workshops.

Plus, in true Saudi style, the Taif Rose Festival has big ambitions. Previously, it broke a Guinness world record for the biggest basket of roses. The basket included 84,450 assorted roses, which were created by 190 young people over 168 hours.

Taif Rose Festival
While you’re in the area, make sure you visit the Rashid Al Qurashei Factory. The rose factory is an excellent spot for souvenir shopping and contains a farm, café and shop.
Nice Place 🌊🏝️🏖️

The 30-kilometer-long Corniche in Jeddah, a beachside resort region, is home to the King Fahd's Fountain, the highest fountain in the world, as well as parks and recreation areas, pavilions, monumental civic sculptures, and other features. An 11 km long, wide shoreline path lined with palm trees runs from the Al Rahma Mosque in the south to City Park, where the Al Kurnaysh Road turns inland. The entire journey offers stunning views of the Red Sea. Along the Corniche is a dedicated running and cycling path called the Jeddah Waterfront.

It is a promenade lined with stores, eateries, and cafes. It is easy to spend hours at the Corniche trying out new hobbies like falconry, falcon shows, falconry demonstrations, exhibitions on Saudi culture, ex-pats, and beautiful views of the gorgeous Red Sea because there are so many things to do nearby.

Highlights
Enjoy your meal and a cool drink on a park bench while taking in the scenery.
Take advantage of the area's many attractions and breathtaking Red Sea views.
Shop at the numerous stores while enjoying a meal at one of the excellent restaurants or cafés along this promenade.
While exploring the galleries and exhibitions showcasing Saudi culture and handicrafts, visit unique experiences like the Falcon show.
There are several places you may visit along the Jeddah Corniche, including al-Rawda Park, which has a lot of tall palm trees and shade trees to protect you from the blazing sun.
Many people prefer to relax on one of the park benches and take in the scenery while enjoying their meals from paper containers and their beverages.
The most important thing to remember is that, even though Jeddah Corniche has a lot to offer, it is constantly crowded with tourists. If you want to visit this hidden gem, leaving your car at home and taking the bus or train instead might be best because parking is challenging.

Al Rajhi Mosque

The Al Rajhi Grand Mosque is a famous landmark in Riyadh. Built with a contribution from the Al Rajhi family, it is an important place of prayer for Muslims. It is also considered a community gathering place for social occasions like Eid and for conducting sizable community meetings. The Al Rajhi Grand Mosque is one of the most important Islamic institutions in the city and the biggest mosque in Riyadh. It is also regarded as an architectural marvel. It is significant to highlight that only adherents of the Muslim faith are permitted entry to the mosque. Despite this, you should still include the Al Rajhi Grand Mosque on your list of things to do in Riyadh. The structure itself is stunning and attractive. The mosque has two libraries, forensic science classes, an automated utility system, a men's hall with a capacity of 18,000 people, and a women's hall with a capacity of 2,500 people. Over seven languages are used to translate Juma'ah Kotbah (Friday prayers), and various LCD screens are available for hearing-impaired individuals. The facade features classic rock-based tiles in the style of a typical mosque. The mosque has elegant lighting that makes it appear impressive at night.
