Pretty mid Shake Shack - probably due to the location and diluted standards as a result of always being busy - probably also not the best to take to go either. Amount of cheese on cheese fries is never enough, but the white truffle limited burger was pretty nice - standards at TCR location seem to be better, visit there if you want a Shake Shack in London.
What a fantastic community resource, commemorating for posterity the cultural diversity and important history of the Borough of Hackney. This is a free museum, the staff working there are very friendly, and exhibits very interesting. Please take the time to come by and support their hard work!
A lovely traditional french bistro. Went with my friend the other week and had a bottle of the house white, along with a classic coq-a-vin. We just walked in for an early dinner and were seated fairly promptly (but it got busy fast). The food was of a good quality and my favourite part was how elegant, yet relaxed the whole experience was; will for sure return when I’m next craving french cuisine.
Really good 99c wing deal on Tuesday evenings; the quality of the wings are on the better side. Great selection of beers on tap as well, good ribs, friendly atmosphere, good selection of sports on screen (both tennis and baseball were on at the time), and above all, very pleasant and positive service - thanks for having us, will surely come again.
Very cozy and “fika” type of vibe, in this little cute, yellow café. Managed to get seated right away on a busy Saturday late morning. Really friendly staff and good vibes; the food was lovely and high quality. Had the shakshuka and my brunch partner had the eggs royale (benedict with smoked salmon). The royale especially was really good, with very fresh salmon and fluffy english muffins, plus the hollandaise sauce was not too overpowering. Cappuccinos on point too!
