A gem!
A great idea, with great content. It requires at least a half-day to do justice to the material and admission fee. It could use more, enthusiastic staff & possibly some simple printed displays to explain the science and maths to visitors (especially children), otherwise reliant on significant parental input. Somewhat disappointing that many (20% of) exhibits were not working - but still plenty to inspire!

We had a great family day rafting on the Colorado River. Glenwood Adventure are a highly professional, exceptionally well organised, well equipped with kit for loan, hire and sale. We went on a Grade 2 route and for the afternoon the children (aged 8 & 10) went in 1 & 2- man "duckies" down the rapids. A fantastic experience! We saw 3 bald eagle, a mule deer on the river bank and plenty of turkey vultures overhead. An enthusiastic and engaging guide - thank you Claire!
