Food and beers were delicious. Our waitress was really courteous, friendly and very helpful. I wish there was a kids' menu instead of a smaller version of an adult meal. All in all, it was a fun experience!
We went for a late supper. We waited about 15 minutes to get a table, but it's expected during the tourist season. It has a real pub feel with a big bar at the entrance. I love the portion of the food. I had so much haddock that I shared it with my daughter. My kids loved the Mac N cheese. They said it was creamy and cheesy. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating.
Just going to the lighthouse was a beautiful drive. Once there, we park and then walk a little bit uphill. Very beautiful scenery!! I was expecting to be taller (I guess my expectations from movies made me think that). I was disappointed that we couldn't go in. There is not much to do, so we barely stayed half an hour.
We have come once or twice per year. I love that the change the main exposition. This time, it was on hockey. There were lots of interactive games. We had fun! The other expositions are always interesting, too. My kids always have a good time. One little downside is, of course, all the day camps, but it's understandable since it's summer.
Omg! I really loved this place. The restaurant has nice little Italian touches here and there. The pizza oven is gorgeous. Now let me talk about the pizza. AMAZING! The crust is soft but a little crispy. The toppins are fresh and delicious. I had the funghi pizza, just divine!
