Located on 38th Ave between Brentwood and Hyattsville, slow down or you will miss it! This facility has beautiful areas designed for all ages. Located on a series of walking/hiking/biking trails, this park has parking, soft rubber surfaces and an integrated workout spot for adults with a large interactive playground for the kiddos. Plenty places to walk your dog and enjoy the fresh air. This park is also on the 86 metro bus route as well as PG busses (13 & 18).
The kiss and ride is actually located behind the station on the lower level rather than above with the bus bays. That's not clearly evident when departing the station. When exiting the turnstiles turn tight and walk down the path near the fare machines.
Located not far from Takoma Park metro in NW DC and the city of Takoma Park, TPBC is a beautiful vintage church with neighborhood appeal and early 20th century architecture. Very family oriented, the community and parish are very welcoming to musicians, visitors and parishioners.
Great place to pick up everything from small items (magnets, key chains and post cards) to prints, textiles and clothing to commemorate your visit to the Kennedy Center. Pricey items (IMHO) but unique to the venue make branded or event specific purchases worth the cost.
Beautiful church right over the DC line. Easy access by metrobus. Home of the Washington Conservatory Community Orchestra!
