Always loved this venue, and came back for the Under oath and The Ghost Inside show. The venue is still great, and all of the staff was friendly! It's apparent they are very well organized. Also had some loaded fries that were superb!
Soco Falls

One of my favorite places to go! Nestled on a winding mountain road (Wolfetown Rd/ Highway 19) between Maggie Valley and Cherokee, this may be one of North Carolina's best kept secrets! It's a double cascade waterfall on Soco Creek where the intersecting falls drop about 40-50 feet. The "parking lot" is smaller, and really just looks like a pull-off that's lined with metal guard rails. It's not well marked with a sign, so search "Soco Falls" on Google Maps. The short hike to the observation deck is a moderate decline and only about 100 yards. If you want to go to the bottom of the falls, it's about another 60 yards, steeper, requires some big step-downs, and can be slippery at times. There are typically ropes strung up between trees to aid in the steeper portions. Once you reach the bottom of the falls, you feel and hear the beautiful sound of the water falling. There isn't really a good opportunity to swim, but surely a great spot to splash around on a hot day! Exploration beyond the immediate area of well-beaten paths is possible, but caution should be exercised.
