The name Queen Restaurant in Bandung draws the highest praise from culinary lovers. With a focus on fresh ingredients and care to ensure every dish is meticulously prepared and served, it’s no wonder anyone going to Bandung should make Queen a must-stopover for a meal.
Unfortunately, this can’t be said of Queen Palace Restaurant in West Jakarta. We made a special trip here just to try the dishes that made Queen at Bandung famous but were sorely disappointed. This is not a serious restaurant.
The only similarity with Queen Bandung is the name, everything else from the service to food was just appalling. The difference is like between night and day
While Queen Bandung strives for excellence and is entirely diner-focused, Queen Jakarta is commercially-oriented and focused on wedding packages.
If you are looking for a good dining experience, I would not recommend this place.

You don't have to go to New York to get the best pastry, you can find it right here in Jakarta at Bartisserie. I discovered the perfect croissant here, crispy with a lot of puff pastry, and it smells of butter inside. This is a must-come-to place for meals that are wholesome and delicious, using best quality locally sourced ingredients. I appreciate that everything has been thoughtfully considered to provide a complete dining experience.
