Walking into this place is like walking into Heaven. The sweet and aromatic scent of authentic sweetmeats is so enticing that I made a special trip the minute I arrived in Johannesburg, and it was my last stop 8 days later when I departed .
They are well known for their Habshi Halwa which is freshly made on site. They have 3 types of Halwa. A variety of Burfee and other delectable delights.
Centrally situated in the heart if Fordsburg, convenient corner location and I have always managed to find parking directly in front of the store.
I carried a cooler bag to keep the treats chilled, as it's freshly made from pure ingredients and to me it has to be eaten cool.
Staff are amazingly helpful and efficient.
Do try their Shalimar brand rice as well.

Had an amazing experience. The Juma (Friday) lunch was absolutely scrumptious and one of the very very few places that I ate dhall ghos, that was so deliciously prepared. The meat inside was of gigantic proportions, exactly the way should be!!. The rice was soft and fluffy, accompanied by all The tasty accompaniments. The biryani was deeelish as well!!!
Anyway that was just the lunch, I have had their Burgers previously, the flatbread and pizza. All freshly made and ready to indulge.

Their quality and standards are stil as consistent as they always have been since their very small shop on Ridge road that used to love visiting.
The cold Meats are excellent and their Kassegrille is legendary. Many have tried to copy what Continental has mastered.
All in all an amazing stop this upcoming break!!!

My visit to this business establishment was not for the purchase of tiles, whilst I waited for my appointment, i observed the fantastic staff tending to the needs of every customer that entered.
Patience, efficiency, product knowledge , courtesy and the best possible advice was given by the numerous salespeople on the floor to their respective customers .
The layout of the showroom was excellent, with wide passageways, appropriate segregated sections for different sectors. Fashionable and absolutely remarkable home decorating ware available.
The place is well lit, with ample natural light and showroom lights as well.
Parking is convenient, with a guard on duty, easy access to the showroom.
I know where to return to when I start renovating my home!!!
