Booster Juice
2024 Jun 12
Booster Juice is my place to go in every malls I visit. It's the perfect pick for a refreshing, healthy drink. It’s blended deliciously with whole fruits or mixed with vegetables as a smoothie or fresh juices catering to your taste buds. I loved the smoothies and the fresh juices. For diet-conscious and healthy buffs, this is the perfect place for you.
Fisherman's Wharf is a distinctive marine location with shops, food kiosks, floating houses and some tour agencies. There's a store selling fresh kinds of seafood or they can cook them for you but expensive. The floating houses are colourful and the water taxi is interesting. The ambiance is festive and lively but the washroom is terribly messy. Closes at 9:00 PM.

There is a park nearby with a small kid’s playground and few picnic tables. The sunset overlooking the water is beautiful.
Magnificent architectural building. It is one of the architectural highlights of Victoria. Entrance is free and two visiting options; 1) to visit the edifice on a self-guided tour, a self-directed Guide Book is free or 2) be accompanied by well-organised tour guides (for free) who can impart the history of the commonwealth and highlight interesting information as you go around the Legislative Assembly. I loved a slow walk around amazed at the details by myself. It's a learning experience of Canada's legislature. The garden is beautifully landscaped and the Knowledge Totem Pole was amazing.
McArthurGlen Designer Outlet has about 80 designer retailers located near the Vancouver Airport and can be reached via Skytrain. It's also interesting for you to know that trips between Templeton station (location of McArthurGlen Designer Outlet) and YVR-Airport station are free.

The mall directory is at the main entrance. The stores carry varieties of products like clothes, shoes, bags, pieces of jewelry, make-up, chocolates, etc (high-end to average brands) are here. Most stores are competitive in giving big discounts and special deals. This long weekend (the Victoria Day) stores give good deals and discounts from 20% up to 60%. There are food restaurants, café, and coffee shops. There are two food trucks 1) Praguery cakes & ice-cream and 2) Nukkad Street Eats, both are located before the entrance of the mall facing the parking area.

Since it’s not a covered mall, I loved shopping, especially every Spring and Summer. It’s wonderful to enjoy the sunshine for a casual stroll/shopping. Everyone is comfortable in shorts/summer clothes. It has a light festive ambiance, shoppers are everywhere, and kids playing and enjoy dancing at the fountain. There are kids play area near the OshKosh/Carter’s and Lindt Stores. Truly it’s great fun in this mall.

The best designer outlet of good quality products loaded with deals and good discounts. The washrooms are clean and well-maintained. There are charging stations for electric vehicles. Parking is spacious and free.

Now that Christmas is near, an evening visit is wonderful to see the gorgeous Christmas tree.
Mesa
2023 Mar 17
Mesa has been a by-word of friends for Filipino cuisines with a creative twist. And true enough I wouldn’t be happier to try their amazing food. The fresh fruits shakes are mouth-watering. I loved the sizzling Crunchy Pork Sisig and Sinigang Bangus Belly in Pineapple and Guava. Dingdong’s Boodle A is a sure winner and a good deal. It’s a festive tray of tinapa roll, crispy breaded squid, kangkong adobo, tinapa rice, crispy pork belly, stir-fried salted shrimps, Bam-I noodles and sisig rice for sharing of 2-3 persons (Php777.00). Halo-halo is a perfect dessert.

Dining place theme is festive and classy. Food is served fast and service is awesome. I loved their presentation of serving food in a huge tray.
