Very unfortunate experience this weekend.
The Grand Bohemian lounge and rooftop has been on my list for well over a year.
We valeted our car, and distinctly asked our male attendant how much and for how long was parking. We were just going to have drinks and appetizers. He stated it’s $15 if you’re back within three hours. This was at 7:30. We had a drink at the lounge and then went to the rooftop for live music per our bartender’s suggestion.
We had superb service from Doug our rooftop bartender. The live music was amazing! The singer was extremely talented, interacted with the crowd, and gave the rooftop such a lovely vibe. After finishing our drinks and an appetizer we headed back at 8:55pm. We handed Diana our ticket and she said cash or card- and I said card- she asked how much tip, I confirmed it was $15 and she said no it’s $21. I was confused. I explained our initial attendee told us when we arrived it was $15 if we were back within 3 hours. She very rudely interrupted and talked over me, and told me no that’s wrong. She repeatedly asked for how much tip on the card. I was so taken back at her rudeness as there was a line for valet that I said 4 making my total $25. She was extremely condescending and inappropriate with her attitude and mannerisms. I am not cheap by any means- we spent over $150 between the lounge and the rooftop. I simply do t like being taken advantage of, which I feel is what took place here.
The lounge and the rooftop bar tenders were amazing, but sadly won’t be returning due to the inappropriate valet service.

Our stay was fantastic! The room- Jewel suite was absolutely stunning.
The facilities were great, with hot water and plenty of amenities. The housekeeping was excellent, keeping everything clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Kevin went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. TK at the spa gave me one of the most amazing treatments.
Breakfast was also a highlight, with a variety of options to choose from.
The only issue we ran into was the incessant dog barking- which was quickly remedied by moving to a higher floor.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this property. It is definitely in my top five favorite hotels I have ever stayed in!
