Nice and quiet restaurant in the city center. Barbecue from chicken was super tasty but from lamb wasn’t as good as supposed to be (maybe just personal taste). The service could be better. The waitress was looking at her phone and we had to go to her in order to ask for more water, check, to place additional order. The problem is that she wasn’t looking at the guests and we were only one table during the lunch time. In my view, this is not appropriate.

Nice parking but sometimes it’s hard to find the spot on the first floor of P1-2 parking lot. In general, there’s always enough parking spaces on the other floors.

There are carts and toilets are also available in the area where the lifts. Both are free of charge.

If you create an account in the Interparking application then you will be charged for parking automatically (no need to get off the car to pay for parking at the parking meter). So convenient! Recommend!

The airport is nicely decorated for the Christmas.

My first experience with this airport:
1) express parking is too expensive (they say 3€ for 30 min, but they charge 3€ for every 5 minutes). Tip: always to a parking ticket to the apparat when leaving the airport. The barrier opens automatically but if you don’t put the ticket it will “think” that you are still at the parking area and you get to pat for it.
2) no carts at the airport at all. Tip: In case you travel with a big box, take your own cart (one you use for shopping may work).
3) come to the airport a bit early, at least (1-1,5 hours before the flight) otherwise you may miss the flight. The lines seems quite long.
4) it’s a bit far. it takes 1h ride on the car to get from Brussels. (You then go back, so in total two hours only on the road).

Honestly, I would have bought a flight ticket at the Zaventem airport and saved my time, money and nervous system 😅.
