White Castle
2021 Nov 05
First visit to White Castle and it was delicious. The restaurant was clean inside and outside. Nicely decorated with White Castle pics and had a TV mounted on the wall.
The menu was easy to order from. Me and my husband ordered the sharing pack which came with 10 White Castle burgers (we added cheese), two fries, and two drinks. My son ordered two chicken sliders, fries, and drink. The burgers came in individual cartons and was very good. The buns were very soft and everything was juicey. Fries were crispy and hot.
Very fulfilling! We couldn't finish the share pack. Enjoyed my visit!!
Great buffet! When you enter, you are welcomed to great smells of southern fried chicken, veggies, and fresh rolls. You have to go to the counter to place your order, you have the choice of the buffet, or steak and potatoes w/ the option of adding the buffet. My family ordered the buffet with soft drinks and sweet tea. After you order, you find the table you want, then your waitress will bring your dinner and salad plates. The buffet had great meat options of everything from fried chicken to pot roast (and pretty much everything in between). Lots of side options of vegetables (of all types), beans, chicken spaghetti, dressing w/ cranberry sauce, Mac and cheese, and fried okra (I'm sure I missed something). They have a Mexican food section with cheese dip, burritos, hamburger and shredded chicken meat and taco shells. They also have a large salad bar will all the fixings. The bread section had rolls, wheat rolls, and corn bread.
Everything was very good and the staff is constantly keeping fresh food on the bar. They actually ring a bell when fresh chicken comes out! After eating our meal, we unfortunately didn't have room for dessert, but it looked really good! Variety of pies, cookies, and a ice cream bar.
We definitely look forward to coming back.
Great Mexican food in a family friendly restaurant. Everyone was very nice and we were seated right away. We were served chips and salsa once seated which was very good. The salsa had a little kick to it and was very tasty. Me and my husband ordered the Chimi Mi Pueblito. It is a large flour tortilla with your choice of steak or chicken (I had the steak), rice and beans and is deep fried and topped with cheese dip and Pico de gallo. It was VERY good! My son got the regular Chimichanga that come with a choice of steak or chicken (he had shredded chicken), with a side of rice and beans. My daughter had the Burrito Supremo filled with ground beef. It comes covered in red sauce, but she substituted the red sauce for cheese dip for a small charge. Everything was very delicious and fulfilling and our waitress was very attentive. Can't wait to return and try more of their wonderful food!
This was a fun experience! I had never been to an escape room so didn't know what to expect. When first entering the building, we were greeted by the staff. He was very nice and welcoming. The front lobby is decorated with posters of the variety of escape rooms. There is a couch and loveseat to lounge and wait for your room. You must sign a waiver before entering and lock your phone (or any device that would take video or pictures of the escape room) in a locker. Before you go into your room the employee will give you a description of what is going on with your room (the back story of why you are trapped and need to escape). He also went over the rules. You then watch a short video of rules and how to play the game ( you get hints but it will deduct points). After that part you are taken to your room. We had a group of 4 and solving the clues was definitely a team effort. It was a lot of fun and would like to try out the other rooms. We did the Alice and the Wonderland. Very fun room! Everything is upside down! When you complete your room or your 1 hour time is up, you leave your room meet up in the front lobby. You get to take a group picture of your success (or unsuccessful) completion of the game. We had a great time! One more thing, you can reserve your escape room online in advance or sign up for one when you arrive. We did ours in advanced to make sure we had the room and time we wanted. When you reserve online they will not charge your card. It is just to hold your spot. (I didn't know that). You can pay how you want when you get there. Since we were two separate families we was able to pay separately.
