It's a good store with plenty of products that are mostly at reasonable prices. They also offer 2 hours of free parking.

However, getting into and out of the store is not always straightforward because the lifts are very slow when they're working (most of the time at least one of them is broken) and their escalators are often turned off, so getting large amounts of shopping to your car is not guaranteed (One day last week, it took me nearly 10 minutes from parking my car to actually arrive inside the store!).
Fantastic volunteers who are all knowledgeable about the history of the mansion, and even the Palace that was its inspiration.
There's a wonderful scale model of the Palace inside too.
Some great value products are to be found here. Just shop wisely by comparing prices, Iceland usually comes out best.
It is a great place to dodge some of the price increases elsewhere, especially if you're over 65 because Iceland truly supports us by giving us 10% discount across the board on Tuesdays.

Ross goes out of his way to give the best service he can. If you want fruit for smoothies, he'll sell you perfect produce at half the price of supermarkets. His fresh produce is superb.
