I live near asda in sutton surrey. I use my mobility scooter to get into the shop. It's always crazy there. I have to shout out to people to move as I might injury them .
The security bars are silly because when you want to get out of the shop. You have to get through the self service area.
I prefer sainsbury as I don't get stressed out there.

Unfortunately, my shopping experience at Asda has not been very pleasant. The aisles are always narrow, and due to the placement of shelves and trolleys, it’s very hard to get through. It’s also difficult to find staff when you have questions or need assistance, which makes the shopping experience more frustrating. Additionally, the entrance and exit routes are poorly designed, and you have to walk a long distance to leave the store.

Moreover, the store often lacks fried chicken, and the selection of fresh pizzas is limited in variety. Overall, the store doesn't feel welcoming or customer-friendly. I hope improvements are made in these areas.

The Sutton store is disorganised and a mess. There are few staff, and if you manage to find someone to ask about a product that has not been on the shelves for 3 days or more, they just stare at you blankly and reply, 'I don't know'! Staff can be very rude and abrupt when you ask for help. They don't seem to value customers or care about the fact that you are spending money, or trying to!! Stock levels are appalling and getting worse by the day. I just dont want the stress and frustration of shopping there and I usually end up disappointed.

Great superstore usually, but yesterday it let us down. It was 22.39 pm, and the doors were closed. The security guard ignored us. We went to sainsbury's at 22.48 (it was around 5 minutes walk), and let us in because a commercial site supposed to close the time it says in the front door. I do understand they have to say "we close at 23" constantly because sometimes customers are greedy and unrespectful about the workers, because I work in a similar business too, but close the doors 20 minutes early is utterly unrespectful and incredibly irregular for a business. Beside this unfortunate experience, the store is nice and some of the workers are helpful and efficient.

Just hot home from Sutton to find the security tagged item I brought, is in fact is empty box. Will now have to drive back and hope that I am believed. Not a happy customer.

This super location is very convenient, right on Sutton high street. There is a parking lot with a lot of parking spaces, and you can park for free for 2 hours (make sure you check if there are any changes when parking). There are plenty of different types of household items and food items to suit most families' needs.

EDIT Downgraded to 2 stars after an unpleasant experience at customer services who tried to make me feel I had done something wrong when they had over charged me for an item.
Eventually she had to concede they had overcharged and refunded me but didn't even apologise.
Horrible experience. Won't go there again.

Big place. Went in the afternoon on a Wednesday in March.
Parking is free for 2 hours and uses number plate recognition so no need for tickets.
There is disabled parking near the entrance but that is in the car park on the first floor. There are elevators and travelletors to the ground floor, which bring you to the entrance from the High Street.
As with most Asda stores it has lots of departments, including clothes, kitchenware, toys, fresh fruit and vegetables, tinned goods, toiletries, frozen section, bakery, etc.
It also has a sushi place and a pharmacy - the pharmacy is open 9am to 9pm so is great if you get a prescription late in the day. The pharmacy were also very helpful and managed to order in the medicine for our daughter when nowhere else good.
Store was clean and tidy and staff were helpful, apart from the surly store assistant on the shelf help tills who made me feel as if I was in the way when she had to fix the till. Hey ho.
Overall very good... Apart from her. It was 5 stars till she came along.
