Super cute. Super small. Nice little parkette with swings, bridge, and a few slides. It also has a couple of picnic tables. There’s signs that say no dogs allowed and there’s no bathrooms.
Super tiny cute little park. It’s fenced in so it’s nice to just let the kiddos be free without worrying they will run off somewhere. There are two swings: one for baby, one for a bigger kid. Three slides on the playground equipment although one is currently broken (April 2023). There are no bathrooms but plenty of benches and a couple of tables to sit and enjoy a picnic.
The renovations to this park are amazing! There’s two play gyms. One is for younger kids and the other for older kids. There’s even swings for “baby and me.” I can’t wait to be able to visit when the splash pad opens too. Overall it’s great park! Even the grass is greener now.
The rocket ship themed playground is really nice. There is a smaller slide for toddlers next to it. In the summer’s they fill the wading pool on select days at select times. The wading pool is wonderful! It is probably about 18-30 inches at its deepest making it perfect for little ones. There are shady characters around, but in the day time it feels safe, however I definitely wouldn’t be there after the sun goes down.
This is a small little treasure in Lawndale. There is exercise equipment there are picnic tables there’s two all gendered bathrooms there are beautiful mosaic tiled play areas for the kids. There’s one big wide slide that makes it nice for parents to slide down with their kids and the ground is soft in that area. There is also a sandbox with little tunnels for the kids to play in. There’s a grassy area to run around in or to let dogs run around in. It’s a nice small park and it’s actually really great for toddlers.
