I visited for a 5th floor wedding reception. The space was beautiful and quite unique. The freight elevator was a memorable touch, and in case you visit I won't give away its surprise. The views were great, especially at night. See others' photos for shots of the city skyline.
Barely meeting the strictest definition of a park, this is a pretty mediocre experience. The bad matches the good one for one. I've never really left a park feeling unsure if it was worth the visit until now.
Pros
+There area few older, pretty bur oaks which provide shade
+Parks in general are a great amenity
+There is parking
+There are benches
+There are some education features
Cons
-The park is surrounded by clearly visible houses
-Road noise is plentiful
-The trail is very short
-There is a gross, wet hammock that seems like more of an afterthought than anything (I'm hoping someone just left it there and it was not a planned addition.)
-There is a random canoe in the ground (leading me to believe the hammock may be an actual amenity of the park.)
-The play area consists of a bunch of mulch with some trunk cross sections strewn about that will rot in a year.
[Look up en huit, and then visit. You'll get it.]
