For our mandatory Italian away from home, we tried this Italian restaurant down the road. Ordered pick-up as one of them kids had something to do online. Prices are higher than Melbourne but the portions and taste are pretty good so no complaints from the kids. We ordered marinara and piemontese pastas and the usual suspects, supreme, capriciosa and bbq chicken pizzas. For sure, not top bad.

Lest we forget.

The lighthouse is located close to town and accessible from a nearby car park after short 15-20 minute walk. We visited on a cool summer day but it was very blustery (hang on to your headgear!). There are picnic grounds and places to fish nearby. A public loo is located near the park/playground.

Great spot for photos on coastal walk. There are benches to enjoy the view of coastline and ocean.

Lovely views of lake and birds. It's peaceful and tranquil. An ideal spot to meditate and enjoy nature, or just to take a break on Dandenong Creek Trail walk.
