My go-to spot in Greektown for cheap and tasty Greek food with enormous portions! The inside is nice and cozy although a bit dated, but you’re really coming here for the tasty food! I usually get their pork gyros meat platter with Greek salad and Greek fries, and honestly that is enough to feed 2 people. Portions are massive, both the main and sides are tasty, and the food comes quick! Service is friendly and fairly attentive though can be slow during busier times. Glad they’ve been around for so many years and hope they stay around for many more!

Amazing spot for authentic Cantonese fare with lots of “wok hei”. Prices are fair and the portions and quality of the food are top notch. My go-to items here are the sweet and sour pork, white cut poached chicken, and the satay beef chow mein. Lots of comments about issues with customer service but I’ve found them to be friendly and responsive. My only gripes are that the interior decor is really dated and that this place tends to be insanely busy even on weekdays so if you can, go outside of peak dining times.

Cute Balzac’s location for hanging out with friends or studying. The inside is very cozy and spacious with plenty of tables. There’s a wide selection of drinks available, and they are consistent with the high quality of the other Balzac’s locations.

Came here for a late night weekday dinner, there aren't many late night options in the area, but I'm glad I found Good Shine! It's a really hole-in-the-wall spot, hidden away in a small strip mall with only a handful of tables. The interior feels super dated, but you're definitely not coming here for the decor. Service was super friendly and attentive, felt like your mom or aunt was serving you food. There's a great variety of Taiwanese dishes here, we got the popcorn chicken and Taiwanese beef noodle soup, both were super tasty and filling. Portions are on the smaller side for the price, but the quality was definitely there. Cash only, so make sure you have it on hand! All in all, a great place for a delicious, quick, no-fuss dinner.
