This was the highlight to our trip to Rome. The highlight is the vestal virgin Tuccia, a marble statue carved in 1743, which is incredible. The transucent marble was carved so thin that the light shines through it like a veil. It cost 13 euros/person to enter the museum. The museum is on two floors and the staircases are wide, winding and long. There is an elevator if the climb is too much. Another fun feature is that the palm trees in the front yard had nesting parrots.
Ten out of five stars. This is the best Korean restaurant we have been to. It is a small storefront & modest, in the Ithaca Commons. Inside, it is bright, very clean and amazing service. The tea was the best we have ever had. We'll be back.
This is a nice linear park with a path that used to be the mule towpath along the original 1800's Erie canal. The abandoned Erie canal is a ditch that runs parallel to the trail. We traversed this park during the NYS Parks & Trails bicycle tour of the Erie canal.
