It came as a huge surprise to me that in a public park, there would be marine animals living. I love the conditions. Looks likes the animals are in their natural environment.
The both sea seals and lions look happy and swim freely.
Presumably, they are gift from the government of Uruguay to the citizens of Santander and it is amazing that they didn’t get put into a private zoo or anything, but everybody can come and visit for free

This sculpture group has a very special meaning as explains in the win formation board.
It is pretty easy to walk by without noting it so actually worth using google maps for an exact location

You would probably walk by without paying too much attention during the day but at night it looks charming
