My friend and I dined in for lunch today. He had spoken highly of this restaurant many times, so I was happy to check it out.
I had the Bayou spinach salad with Cajun shrimp and scallops - amazing!
My friend had a Cajun chicken club on focacia, which looked equally amazing!
Definitely glad we chose this place for lunch today!

My friend and I had to come back to this restaurant - we'd been talking about our previous visit and how much we enjoyed it for at least two weeks.
Again we had the lamb shank with kabuli palau and channah masala. Ohh, so good. The chicken peas had a lovely hot spice kick to them which balanced beautifully against the carrots and raisins in the rice. I just love this restaurant.
Next time, however, we agreed to try one of the kabab dishes - they all look so inviting in the menu.

One of the most delightful dine-in experiences I've had in a long time!
I brought my friend (his first visit) and he loved it!
We both had the lamb shank dinner: succulent, fall-off-the-bone lamb, with a healthy serving of Kabuli pilau and channa masala. The incredible mantu appetizer had already set the tone for something wonderful. Everything was so delicious!
The service was A1, the ambience cool and inviting. Overall a resounding Olympic 10!!!

Today I brought my friend here to try the food. He had been wanting some butter chicken for a few weeks and The Regency Restaurant was the first place that came to mind.
He LOVED it 😋😋😋! So rich and creamy and perfectly spiced. When he put it over his basmati he thought he was in Heaven!
I had the same thali/combos as I had last time I visited. Such a perfect combination of flavors!

Middle of the afternoon and I'm the only customer??? Really??? All the more for me!!!
Chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi, boneless lamb curry, saag paneer, naan and rice - perfect lunch! Even a slice of lime in the water! Most enjoyable!
Extensive menu, service with a smile, easily accessed and clean surroundings. More people need to get in there and try one of their thali/combos.
Funny - a little bird flew in while I was entering, and he stayed on one of the decorative branches by the door during my entire visit. Even he liked it there!

Met a friend here today for lunch. Saturdays and Sundays they offer a buffet. Not a huge variety of options but certainly enough to satisfy your taste buds and to make you appreciate Bangladeshi cuisine. Of course, you can also order from the menu. We stuck with the buffet and were pleasantly more than satisfied! This is my second time here and I've been impressed both times. Bumping up to 5 ⭐️s!

The food I had here today was really quite tasty (chicken tikka, beef kebab with naan and rice) but the portions could have been a bit larger. My friend liked his curry beef and rice.
The girl who served us was very pleasant with lots of smiles!

I know they're only available for a limited time, but the $4 Mighty Melts is probably the best lunch deal around. Don't miss out - try one before they're gone!
It appears this location has changed ownership or something. They now restrict your veggie options to a maximum of two on the Mighty Melts and then want to start charging extra. Not the deal it used to be. I stopped going.
