Christmas lighting at Southglen on. Gr8 free Santa and weekend Fri/Sat carriage rides. No ice rink this year. But still very festive. Wish more stores open after dark. Go support the local restaurants.

I'm a bit disappointed in this years Christmas decorations. They took out the lighted trees and added lamp posts that were not very impressive. It's almost not worth getting out to walk the town this year. Many other towns are looking more festive. It's still a nice town but missed the mark for holidays. The town hall and Melting Pot looked festive.

Gr8 for the special event - Catrinas en mi cuidad Oct 14 2023. Parked at Metro state across road. Security on sight. Felt safe. Grass and places to sit. Dog friendly.

It was an amazing drive, with many vistas and short hikes. We also camped at Saddleback Campground one night. Right now, on the southside of the drive, the wildflowers are at peak. During the week, not very busy. Often had many areas to ourselves.
