Olympic National Park

For reference, this park covers a very large area. The only part I visited was the Lake Crescent area in January.

Such a beautiful, serene, peaceful park. I love the lush green forests! The water was crystal clear. Since I went in January, it was quite foggy but honestly that added to its beauty.

I can’t wait to return and see other parts of the park.

Food: This was the best lobster roll of my life! First of all, the portion size was quite generous. The freshness of the lobster was so high quality, I would not be surprised if it was caught that same day. I am still dreaming of this roll days later 🤤 Even the fries and slaw were a wonderful treat of flavor.

Staff: The staff were very friendly and very responsive. I was blown away at how quickly I received my food after ordering.

Atmosphere: Located on the bay, you could get a lovely water view from almost anywhere in the restaurant. The inside is full of charm and feels warm and inviting.

Overall, this is an amazing place to eat or just hang out and have a drink.
This is one of my family’s favorite National parks!

It seems like it should not exist but it does. It is not a very big park but there is way more sand than you can walk through. The dunes are crazy high!

I would highly recommend renting the sand sleds and sand boards. It is super fun to ride down the dunes. Do NOT use snow equipment. It will not work at all.

We have gone in every season but winter and it is enjoyable anytime.

I know what you are thinking. “Ugh, sand will get everywhere.” That is actually not the case. This sand is all from wind erosion and not water. The sand is so clean and feels so good on your toes. It brushes off pretty easily too.

This park is worthy of one (or more) visits if you can swing it.
