A tranquil and beautiful area that I have visited many times. Observe the abbey ruins or just take a amble near the river. Or maybe you would prefer to bring a picnic. Whatever you choose, the gardens are close to the train station and transport links. This is a particularly pleasant and memorable area to visit..

The hotel room was clean and specious with superb views of Tower Bridge. The staff were so lovely and helpful. On site there is a coffee shop and a little shop for snacks. The restaurant Vicinity serves great meals and a selection of cocktails. Can't wait to stay again!

Picturesque National Trust property with lots to see and do. An abundance of open air green spaces, dog walks and views of the deer. There's lakes , a cafe and a gift shop. Not to mention a farm and the actual house which you can visit. So there's plenty for everyone. If you like aeroplanes, they fly quite low overhead too as Manchester Airport is in the distance. A lovely place with events in abundance too!
