Never thought I'd see the day I saw this street empty but that was the case in more than one occasion on our list trip. Plenty of out-of-business stores and even more people offering to exchange dollars for pesos, it now feels like a tourist trap through and through. We were warned not to walk around there after 6:30pm and after seeing its reality we followed that advice. I wouldn't recommend a visit unless you're looking for souvenir stores since there's at least a couple of them every block.
Small, peaceful gated neighborhood that's about 5 minutes away from the city.
Food is great but on our last visit we waited almost 1 hour for our food while everyone who arrived after us seemed to be enjoying their meal. When confronted, we could see that they had forgotten to place or order.
