Bodrum Shop & Go
2020 Dec 10
At the moment only the Starbucks is open, but this retail complex is well laid and and has some interesting design features.

It looks like a lot of thought has been put into the style and design. There's some quirky and interesting sculptures, and I like the inclusion of the water features. There's some spinning seats too.

There are two floors of available retail space and it'll be interesting to see how the shopping centre evolves and grows. The key is that it's right next to the new coach station here in Torba, so once that opens, this complex will come to life.
Oasis Mall

This is the closest shopping complex to Bodrum Town, and if you're staying in Gumbut the buses come up to the main road near here. Some come past, and other turn off the main road at the road about just before.

The Oasis used to be the only shopping centre in the local area, but after the opening of Ortakent’s Midtown Shopping Mall, it started to look a bit tired and neglected. It wasn’t helped by the opening of Konacık’s The Avenue Bodrum Shopping Centre a little further along the same road. But in recent years The Oasis has bounced back with a facelift, and hosts regular cultural events during the summer.

There’s a variety of different places to eat and drink, and a central outdoor courtyard, as well as a small bowling alley with table tennis and billiards. Under the same roof is a cinema that sometimes hosts English language, dubbed, or subbed films. There's a Starbucks out front, and all of the buses coming out of Bodrum stop here, so it's convenient for the different dolmus routes.
