For one of the best waterfront views of the Bay Bridge walk along this well kept / clean pier. You’ll find a few people fishing, sitting in the bucket seats reading or people watching, and a few tourists. It’s not as popular as the other piers around the Ferry Building, but offers good views of the waterfront and downtown.
Get lost in one of the biggest art stores in SF. There’s a good selection for most media - oils, watercolor, pastels, screen printing, miniature models, knitting, even candle making.
The staff is knowledgeable - some are art students and ready to answer questions. I like how they’ll lead you to where something is located as well - like they do at Trader Joe’s.
Be sure to join their loyalty club to get notified when sales and promotions are taking place.

Gorgeous and hidden place to picnic, bring your dog, and take in the view of City Hall. It’s an off leash hotspot for neighborhood dogs and owners to meet up and get some of those zoomies out - come by after work around 5pm
