One of the authentic coffee houses in Bangalore. It is located in front of MG Road Metro Station. We tried a mutton cutlet here. It was awesome. Coffee and other food items are also affordable. The staff of this coffee house are very humble and cooperative.
Gaimukh Jetty
2024 Jan 21
Gaimukh Chowpatty stands out as an ideal hangout destination in 'City of the Lake' that is Thane. This location is meticulously maintained by local authorities. This charming location not only offers a delightful ambiance but also gives you taste of local cuisines. A unique feature is the opportunity to embark on a jetty ride, allowing visitors to relish the refreshing breeze of Vasai Creek.

At the heart of this vibrant experience is 'The C,' a venue that seamlessly blends ride and restaurant facilities. The affordability of their offerings are fabulous. On jetty separate washrooms for male and females are available. Care takers should keep hygiene of washrooms seriously.

For those seeking an extra thrill, the jetty service is available exclusively on weekends, Saturdays and Sundays. On other days, the jetty securely rests at the bank.

Mahatma Phule Wada
2023 Aug 30
Visiting Mahatma Phule Wada in Pune was an experience that left me inspired and humbled. This historic site stands not only as a symbol of architectural beauty but also as a testament to the remarkable work of social reformers Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and his wife Savitribai Phule.

The intricate design of the wada immediately captures one's attention, reflecting the artistic finesse of its time. However, it's the legacy of the Phule couple that truly shines through. Mahatma Jyotirao Phule's pioneering efforts in education and social equality have left an indelible mark on Indian society. His advocacy for women's rights, eradication of caste-based discrimination, and promotion of education for all is awe-inspiring.

Savitribai Phule, a true trailblazer, shattered societal norms by promoting education for girls in a time when it was unheard of. Her courage and determination are palpable in every corner of the wada. The couple's joint mission to uplift the oppressed and marginalized communities is a source of immense respect and admiration.

Walking through the corridors where these visionaries once lived and worked felt like stepping into history. The museum within the wada does an excellent job of depicting their struggles, achievements, and the impact of their work on modern India.

Mahatma Phule Wada is not just a building; it's a living tribute to the ideals of equality, education, and social reform. It's a reminder that change is possible, even against the toughest odds. This place is a must-visit for anyone who seeks to understand and honor the pioneers who laid the foundation for a more inclusive society.
