When I worked at a planet fitness in California during COVID, there was an extreme focus on cleanliness and staying on top of everything. It was something that set them apart from other gyms. I don't know if it's a worker shortage but that emphasis is just not there in this club. Still friendly staff. I guess you get what you pay for.
