This is a great castle. I went here while visiting the UK and was satisfied with my experience. This castle was ordered to be built by William the Conqueror, but the castle here today was constructed later. This castle has a small dungeon, large staterooms you can walk through, a tower you can climb up, a shirt movie explaining the history of the castle, ramparts you can walk on, and a garden. I gave this castle five stars because it’s a beautiful historic place. This is definitely one of the best things I did in England.
This is a nice park. I went here while visiting London and was satisfied with my experience. This is a small park next to the Thames River with nice views of Greenwich. It has the entrance to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel. This is a grassy park with several trees to provide shade, but I couldn’t find a way to get to the Thames riverbank from here. Barbecuing isn’t allowed here. I gave this park five stars because it’s a nice green space with views of the Thames and Greenwich.
This is a nice square. I went here over Thanksgiving and was satisfied with my experience. This is a large, public square with several tall buildings surrounding it. When I was here there was an ice skating rink and talk Christmas tree. This square is bustling with people and there are several stores nearby, such as the Macy’s department store. I gave this square five stars because it has nice architecture surrounding it and it’s a nice public space.
This is a nice recreation area. I went here while visiting Cape Cod and was satisfied with my experience. This recreation area has a small marina and channel to the Massachusetts Bay. From the parking lot I got a beautiful view for he power generating station here, which looked pretty cool. I gave this recreation area five stars because it has nice views of the nearby power generating station.
This is a nice National Seashore. I went here over Easter and was satisfied with my experience. Cape Cod’s shore is filled with lighthouses and beaches, the best of which are located near Provincetown. The first place I went to was the Chatham lighthouse at the south end of Cape Cod, which looks quite nice. This small lighthouse is located next to a beautiful beach with a barrier island. After this I went to Nauset Lighthouse, a red and white lighthouse that’s featured on Cape Cod Chip bags. This was a beautiful lighthouse, and there’s a nice view of the ocean from here. After this I went to the nearby Three Sisters lighthouses, three small lighthouses that were moved away from the ocean so they wouldn’t be eroded away. After seeing these I went to the Highland Lighthouse, the tallest on Cape Cod. In the summer you’re able to go to the top of it. There’s a splendid vista of the ocean at the lighthouse. After this I went to Race Point beach, a large sandy beach with a lighthouse I didn’t see and a sea rescuer museum open during summer. After this I walked on the Provincetown Dunes, which are approximately 100 foot tall sand dunes. After this I did my favorite thing in Cape acid. I walked to the Wood End lighthouse. This is a small lighthouse located on an isolated peninsula, and the way to get there is to walk on a causeway across water that is inaccessible at high tide. I gave this National Seashore five stars because it has some nice beaches, lighthouses and really nice sand dunes.
