This is a nice park. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This small park is home to multiple abstract sculptures, and it has great views of Elliott Bay and downtown Seattle. Strolling through this park brings one a sense of serenity as well as improved cognitive functioning as they interpret the meanings of the statues they see. I gave this park five stars because it has nice sculptures and good views.
This is a nice park. I went here while visiting Seattle and was satisfied with my experience. This small park has the turnaround for a tram, but all of the trees here still manage to provide a calming sense of serenity within the concrete crowdedness of downtown Seattle. It’s a nice place to walk through, and it’s conveniently located next to the Westlake Center and monorail station. I gave this park five stars because it has a nice atmosphere despite its small size.
This is a nice square. I went here while visiting Seattle and was satisfied with my experience. This is a small square with a large, colorful, intricately carved totem pole. The rest of the square has benches, a large common area, and a large, beautiful pagoda shaped structure to shelter under. However, there are several homeless people under the structure, so I didn’t go there. I gave this park five stars because it has a beautiful totem pole. While there are some homeless people here, that seems to be a phenomenon widespread throughout Seattle so I didn’t n take any stars off for that. They kept to themselves so this area still felt safe to me.
This is a nice light rail station. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This station has an entrance on 3rd and Seneca. After you descend the escalator, there’s an area to buy tickets that overlooks the station platforms. The platforms are quite spacious, and since the station is a light rail station, it feels more spacious because the platform isn’t as elevated as a heavy rail station would be. I gave this light rail station five stars because it has a nice set up, is easy to navigate, and because you can look at trains while buying your ticket.
This is a nice state monument. I went here while visiting Hawaii and was satisfied with my experience. Reservations are required to enter this park to prevent overcrowding. There’s a small visitor stand where one can grab a map of the park and its trail to the top of Diamond Head Crater. The trail isn’t too steep and rather easy as long as you have enough water. The most difficult part of the hike is dealing with the Bear. Near the top there’s a staircase to the crest of the ridge, and another one to the summit, which has beautiful views of downtown Honolulu, the mountains of Oahu, and the ocean. There’s a bunker at the summit built around WWII, which you must walk through to return to the trail. I gave this state monument five stars because it has beautiful scenery.
