On 06 December 2023 I was touched without consent by Eastgate Bondi Junction SecureCorp contracted security Amar Rayner - while he was holding a pair of scissors in one hand (photo provided).

I'm a regular shopper at the centre and the security person deliberately escalated what should have been a polite request into touch without consent (push with scissors in hand) by him - along with his convoluted arguement including that he is legally entitled to do so. He threatened to call the police and I invited him to do so. I mentioned I would also call the police and took his photo. At first he said I'm not allowed to take his photo then he walked away. Then, he quickly changed his mind and returned to me and told me to take his photo and he showed me his name bage. He asked me what's wrong with me because he could see my hand tremor. When I mentioned I'm a regular shopper at the centre he said he's never seen me.

Shame on SecureCorp and shame on Eastgate Bondi Junction.

Condition of entry is not an entitlement to abuse nor be above or between the law.

Security guy sneaked behind me while I was descending the escalator and told me my mobility scooter is illegal. This caused me to turn and nearly loose my balance. I almost fell down the escalator. I told security Transport for NSW are now hiring out scooters. Security guy changed tack and said Galleries policy forbid scooters. In other words, security guy made a thoughtless personal judgement call and almost caused an accident. Who's watching the watchers?
