We found this lovely restaurant at lunchtime when we came down the mountain from Berat Castle. The staff here are really friendly and helpful and the food was a delight! Our waiter recommended the Vienez Vici Me Arra (a local dish of meat stuffed with cheese with walnuts) and I'm so glad he did. Meat-eaters, this dish is amazing! The Djath Furre (baked local cheese with tomatoes and onions) was also delicious!

Love this little sandy beach, which has fantastic views of the city. This is an excellent place to wander, swim, sunbathe or just to grab a snack or drink.

I absolutely loved the souks in the Medina. Full of wonderful colourful Moroccan items, I could've spent even more days here than I did. Sellers are friendly and helpful (and just full of ideas about what else one might need in their amazing stalls). This is also a very photogenic spot!
