Sweet Chick

Walked in without a reservation on a weekday for brunch. We were seated right away. It's a casual brunch spot. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food took a while to come out but it was delicious.
There was about a 45 minute wait on a weekday for brunch. Put your name down and they will text you when your table is ready. This place is not too big, but the hostesses and servers seem to keep it moving efficiently. Food took another 45-60 minutes to come out. Everything was delicious and presented well. $12 Mimosas were tasty. Prices per plate are between $18-$25.
This is a great, free, lookout point to watch the shuttle and rocket launches from the NASA Kennedy Space Center. This is also a good spot for bird or sea life watching. Although you will find benches, there aren't really shaded areas.
The Naples Preserve

The Preserve is located about 8 minutes North of Downtown Naples; about a 2.5 mile drive; next to the Naples Zoo. The boardwalk is an easy 0.4 mile walk through the oak scrubs and pine flatwoods. This is great for kids and it is stroller friendly. You'll spot gopher turtles and different plants/trees. The only downside to this is the actual location next to busy U.S. 41. You can see and hear the cars and thier music. I wish it were more secluded by trees. There is a beautiful Weeping Fig tree at the entrance as well as an Earth Globe and a garden. Parking and entrance are FREE and there is a Eco Center to get more information.
Open space with a large screen and unshaded seating near The Vessel. Great to come in the evenings during the summer when the sun is lower in the sky. There are concrete seating areas to the side, under the trees, which provide a little bit of shade during the hot summer days. They feature different events on this screen. There is a sign posted onsite with dates of events or you can visit their website for more information.
