Nobody would expect much from a Greek restaurant in Hannover. Yet the fine people at Meteora fight the odds and deliver in style.
This is a place that is almost chique (for Hannover) yet still homey. There is somebody at the door escorting you to your table. There is attentive service. There is tons of nice details that stop before trying to hard. And there is very competent food - very often delivered with a twist.
I am not even a fan of Greek food, but I find it hard to complain.

A fantastic little place. The restaurant is small and cosy, yet very elegant. The interior betrays a certain level of attention to detail that I admire.
The service strikes the right balance between politeness, attentiveness, and Bohemian Verschmitztheit.
We had a full set of starters, mains, and desserts, and we were very satisfied with everything. The menu is refreshingly crisp and very local Bohemian. The only little point of critique I could come up with is that some of the items send you back to a time travel to the 90ies (strawberries with green pepper anyone?), but let's say that tradition is being taken seriously here.
We liked it a lot.

Surprisingly pleasant for what it is.
This is a place you reach after a 45 minutes hike and it is situated close to a viewing deck, so you do not expect much. Yet the food is rather decent and the service surprisingly friendly. This is, of course, not an elegant place. But cosy and well run.
Definitely better than anticipated.

A, what a phantastic little gem I was completely unaware of so far. There is almost perfect food made with love (and good ingredients). The menu is shrunk to a manageable size (five or so starters, thee to four primi piatti, a main of fish and one of meat, two desserts). I love that.
I had Octopus as a starter, and I hate it typically but wanted to give it a try as it was recommended by a friend who knows the place very well. I changed my mind about Octopus: it can be delicious, it just often is not because of incompetence I guess. Not so here. Fish and meat were both excellent both in texture and taste. The dessert, a classic Crème brûlée, left nothing to complain.
There is also a very fine selection of Wines (I report hearsay here as I do not drink, but everybody else on the table was delighted).
A nice experience.
Two things to know: this is not a big place, so you might want to reserve a table. Also, this is not a Pizza place, the food is classic Italian.

As good as it gets for a cafe stop inside a shopping mall. There are astonishingly good cakes, rather good coffee, and even some bread stuff and soups. The seating is good (behind the counter) and baristas are competent.
It is one of those cafes where you get your coffee yourself at the counter. If you are okay with this principle then you might give this place a try.
