Incredible gardens, architected by Beatrix Farrand. Very diverse styles but strongly integrated. Well maintained. It has me rethinking gardening and architecture.

Wonderful small museum with a nice collection of Pre-Columbian and Byzantine artifacts. Friendly staff. Price is right (free).

Stopped to get some history of the canal. A lot of work has been put into making the area an attraction, but it didn't seem that busy other than the bike trail.

Friendly people and good service. Pontoon boats are nothing special, but great for a group cruise. Over nights are the best (you own the lake!). Have a sober designated pilot and a GPS navigation phone app, especially at night.
