This café is not too crowded at breakfast and has a reasonable range of breakfast and lunch options. Take note that Seniors from age 60 and those with disabilities get 15% discount off selected menu items. As a social enterprise, it's a good place to patron for a decently good meal and drinks.
Enjoyed the Avocado toast with added Scrambled eggs, which tasted good. The matcha latte had the cutest latte art of an animal paw! The iced Yuan yang with Earl Grey tea comes with a frozen tea ball. Nice! Would definitely return to try the lunch rice bowls.
Staff are very polite and helpful. Love the service.

Small cosy restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. Located along a service road with easy parking. Fairly pleasant environment, with simple decor and unmistakable chopsticks at the frontage.
Not all dishes were tasty. Those with strong spice flavourings ala authentic nyonya are the sambal petai with prawns and acar fish. The joohoo char and ginger chicken were passable. Prawns with ladies fingers tastedsomewhat bland.
For dessert, there are varieties of chendol according to your taste. The normal chendol with red beans didn't have very flavourful gula melaka. Better go with the tab tim krob!

Such an interesting museum with a good variety of displays over four levels. The taxidermy displays are especially well presented and clearly labelled. Children and school going students can see the displays up close for educational purposes.
Entry is free to the various displays, but there are special exhibitions held occasionally which are chargeable. Walking here from Rundle Mall is barely 5 minutes at normal pace.

If you like flat crispy kaya toast or you've never tried a local Singaporean breakfast, do order Set A. You can just have the kaya toast without eggs as an ala carte order. It's a quick tasty snack for breakfast or even tea. However, am thoroughly disappointed with the watery slop of what they call tea. It had such a mild tea flavour that you might as well order hot water with some milk. The owners should do better QC (quality control) with the beverage.
Seating is quite packed and fairly close, due to the odd L-shaped space of the cafe. However, ordering service is fast and tables are cleared quickly for a good turnover rate. Better to order takeout if you can't find a seat at peak breakfast or tea times. Atmosphere isn't so noisy in the early mornings.

Open early morning 7.30am for quick breakfast stopovers or takeaways. Typically good range of latte flavours, mocha, frappe and whatever coffee orders which float your boat! Their underestimated bagels were lightly toasted and had just the right amount of sweetness to the dough. Light on the wallet for a quick meal too.
Great location on Level 3, with plenty of seating and a window view, albeit a somewhat dirty-looking skylight glass roof. Enjoy some people-watching to avoid being glued to your phone.
