This is the free parking lot in the state park with available spots on July 3, 2023. The other lots within the state park charge at least $10. It's about a 20 minute walk to the main attractions but we can all use a little exercise, right?

Regardless of what the City of Edmonton website might say, the spray park is open as of the first weekend in June 2023. Come have fun!

Amazing food. I had the beef stew with pap (a sort of steamed bread made from maize). It was R70 and a huge portion. I could probably go take a nap after this.

It's upstairs on the corner of Long St and Church St. For some reason it isn't showing up easily on Google Maps but I highly recommend it. You may likely be the only white person in there but just trust me. The staff is friendly and the food/price combo can't be beat.

Honestly a mixed bag. The verde smothered burrito was excellent. Perfect spice, great portion size, all around wonderful. The tortas however are likely the worst I've ever had in decades of torta eating. Tiny, hardly any meat, and soggy. So disappointing.

Also to note is that they charge $1 if you pay by credit card.

The paternoster is working as of late May 2017! My 4 year old daughter loved it!

Also right next to it is a restaurant ("bufet") with super cheap meals (options change daily) and tasty snacks. They accept credit cards! Only open until 3 PM most days and 2 PM on Friday. They also have Coke for half the price as all the touristy spots just a few minutes walk away.
