Mochi Dolci
2022 Nov 13
I am absolutely obsessed with this spot - the UWS has deserved a cafe like this for a while now. Family owned, gorgeous decor, and the best mochi donuts I’ve had ANYWHERE, hands down.

On my first visit, I was greeted by the sweet shop owner, who is a UWS local. The mochi donuts come in lots of flavors, I recommend the taro (less sweet) or Nutella. The texture is exactly how a mochi donut should be - light, fluffy, and bouncy. There is also a small menu for hot food that includes Korean corn dogs and a pork belly rice bowl. My Korean corn dog was enormous and cheesy, arguably better than lots of others I’ve tried around the city. The fried ice cream was also delicious! And lastly, I cannot say enough good things about decor. It’s charming, trendy, and perfect for pictures. You can feel the love the owners have poured into this place.

They’re working on opening a speakeasy-style bar in the back within the next few months, can’t wait!
