I fell in love with this place: animals, flowers, plants, gardens, SUNFLOWERS field. It was amazing! We spend some time walking around and learning a lot. It is super well-maintained, with good signage, and educational information for all ages. Totally recommend!
Good space to catch some small events in The Wharf. It has a good space, everyone was seated and you can have a good view from any spot. The sound and lighting were fine as well. Some food options, and good drinks. The kitchen crew needed to control their voice volume, at some point, it was easier to hear them than the artist! Super annoying they do not think about the show that is taking place outside, for that reason I gave them one star. Parking is expensive in the area and depending on the day may be limited, so as always I suggest the use of public transportation to go around DC. It is a short walk from L’Enfant.
Open and flat green space in the middle of a neighborhood. Very limited parking around
Closed on weekends!!! And based on the conditions, probably have been closed for more than just a weekend. Sadly, it is part of the ghost-to-be city of Selma. Abandoned in general or closed. What happened here changed the world and it is not getting the recognition that deserves
Good memorial but it is abandoned and dirty
